Elect Randy Connor for Council at Large

Leadership. Trust. Experience.

                                                                     Your Vote – Your Voice

My candidacy began with a firsthand experience of Fulshear's infrastructure challenges. After moving into our new home, I noticed alarmingly low water pressure, especially in the mornings. Our builder found no issues, and a city technician confirmed the meter was working properly.

Determined to uncover the cause, I installed a pressure gauge and discovered levels below Texas Environmental Quality standards. I engaged city public works officials, who acknowledged that rapid growth had outpaced the water system’s capacity. Conversations with neighbors, city council members, and engineers reinforced the need for action.

I launched an online petition calling for a moratorium on new construction until the issue was resolved, gathering over 800 signatures. While the petition was ultimately rejected due to legal concerns, it gained significant media attention, including coverage from Houston’s major news outlets and the Houston Chronicle.

In response, the city expedited inspections, upgraded equipment, and initiated construction of a new water tower and well. The investigation also uncovered infrastructure deficiencies—closed valves, inadequate piping—which, once addressed, improved conditions.

Working with city leaders deepened my interest in local government. When an open seat on the Fulshear City Council became available, I knew it was my opportunity to serve the community and drive meaningful change.

My Platform

Sustainable/Manageable Growth
Make certain that the growth of Fulshear can be maintained within the capacities of the
infrastructure, roads and streets, police department and other city departments.
